Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the information shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string. This helps with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible publicly next to your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS) in the images. Visitors to the website may be able to download and extract location data from images.
Cookies
- If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These cookies make it easier to leave future comments without re-entering your details. They last for one year.
